Program 1: Clever Kids Occupational Therapy Social Skills Group Therapy Program

Offered: During School Term, Commencing August 2023

Unique & Ground-Breaking Model for Parental Empowerment

Our unique and ground-breaking Group Therapy program has been designed by our highly qualified multi-disciplinary team of paediatric Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists & Physiotherapists to strengthen the family unit and empower parents!

We’ll empower you as a parent to implement a therapeutic program at home, based on everyday household tasks (even housework), to support your child to develop essential life skills. This is empowerment - with the benefit of housework getting done! 😊 Bonus! 

From a therapeutic perspective, our program of support will include fine and gross motor function executive functioning, visual processing, problem solving, organising, planning and social skills development with a multi-disciplinary approach spanning Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology & Physiotherapy).

Designed for Children Aged:

This program has been designed for children aged 5 - 8 years old but please contact us if your child is outside these ages and we will discuss further with you.

Location: Baldivis

Time: 4 pm – 5.30 pm

Program 2: LIttle Chatterboxes Speech Pathology Social Skills Group Therapy Program

Offered: During School Holidays, Commencing September 2023

Unique Model for Social Engagement Skills Development

Structured and tailored sessions run by a Speech Pathologist and supported by a Therapy Assistant. Focused on helping children to improve their social communication skills with a focus on improving social, speech and language abilities in a fun, safe and supportive environment.

From a therapeutic perspective, our program of support will include an understanding & awareness of reactions & emotions, perspective taking, self-regulation & self-awareness, problem solving skills and figurative language.

Designed for Children Aged:

This program has been designed for children aged 5 - 8 years old but please contact us if your child is outside these ages and we will discuss further with you.

Location: Scarborough

Time: 3 pm – 5 pm

Wednesdays:

  • 27 Sep

  • 4 Oct

Fridays: 

  • 29 Sep

  • 6 Oct

Cost: $193.75 per 120 min session (GST inc)

Total Cost: $775 (8 hours: 4 x 120 min sessions)

Program of Support Structure: 

  • 4 x 120 minute sessions, twice per week, during WA school holidays in September / October 2023

Want to Know How Family Agility Can Help?

We have an extensive depth of clinical experience in developmental delay / disability management, particularly with regard to paediatric (children's) and young people's neurological conditions, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), psychosocial disabilities, emotional regulation issues, chromosomal abnormalities and trauma rehabilitation.  

We can work with you, your child and your family to assist with:

  • Development of fine motor skills (ie: effectively grasp and release items, writing, playing, etc)

  • Improve cognitive skills, problem solving and memory / attention span

  • Improve hand - eye coordination (ie: playing games, etc)

  • Learn self-care skills such as bathing, getting dressed, drinking, brushing teeth, feeding and mealtime management.

  • Improve sensory processing and modulation

  • Improve visual perception 

  • Improve emotional regulation skills

  • Improve social skills

  • Recommend equipment and assistive technology

  • Recommend home modifications.

Early Childhood Partners, Parents, NDIS Participants & Support Coordinators

  • We are registered for Early Childhood Early Interventions (ie: children under 9 years old)!

  • If your child is part of the ECEI program or has NDIS funding, we can provide our School Holidays Group Therapy program of support using funding from your child's NDIS Plan.

  • We have no wait times at all due to our unique operating model.

  • Please complete and submit our NDIS Participant Referral form (use the button below), contact us on (08) 6373 5063 to discuss how we can support your child to achieve their NDIS Goals and your Family Goals.

Terms & Conditions of Registration: School Holidays Group Therapy

If you have not had any prior therapeutic engagement with Body Agility or Family Agility, a 15 minute pre-screening telehealth appointment will be required prior to your child's participation in any group therapy session, at a cost of $48.50. Total cost of program of support, excluding pre-screening appointment, will be confirmed with all patients in advance of program commencement.

If Private Patient: Full Payment for Program is Required in Advance: If you are a privately funded patient, we require the full payment for this program, in advance, to reserve your child's registration in this program of support. Your child's registration into this program of support is not confirmed until payment is received for full program.

Additional Charges To Follow for Sessions in Full Program of Support & Non Attendance: By registering your child into this Program of Support, and by scheduling any appointment, you also hereby acknowledge that if you / your child doesn't attend any session, there will be no make up session available and you will still be charged for the session that wasn't attended.
Appointment Cancellations, No Shows, Late Arrivals: If you need to cancel your appointment, you can do so here . Please note that fees apply if you cancel, change or reschedule an appointment without the required notice, which you will be personally liable for. You may cancel, without being charged a fee, if a minimum of 7 days notice before the original appointment time is given. Requests to cancel an appointment with less
than 7 days notice before the scheduled appointment start time will forfeit up to 100% of the appointment fee.  If you are late for a session, the delay in time may be forfeited. For example, if you are 15 minutes late for a 120-minute session, you may join the session late, however the full scheduled time (120 minutes) will be billed or deducted from any appointments pre-paid.
Unforeseen Circumstances: 
If the session is cancelled by us due to an unforeseen or unexpected circumstance / illness / technology failure / premises issue / urgent family matter or anything else outside of our control, we will give as much notice as possible so that a reschedule can be arranged. We will not be responsible for any costs incurred by you in these circumstances.

Continuity of Supports in Emergency Situations / Reasons of Safety / Compliance with Government Directions for Service Delivery: In the event that Body Agility is unable or is not permitted by Government (or any other authority) to provide supports in the manner identified in this Agreement (e.g.: not able to offer the session(s) in person due to government directives / restrictions / mandates), we will provide our supports via other methods, as permitted (e.g.: telehealth (safe and secure live video / phone consultations). Read more about telehealth and how it works here. Please note that our cancellation policy (refer above: 'Cancellations, No Shows, Late Arrivals') still applies in these circumstances.

Unacceptable Behaviour: If at any time, a Patient's or Patient's Parent/ Representative's behaviour is deemed by Body Agility to be offensive, disruptive or otherwise negatively impacting on other patient(s) positive experience or ability to fully participate during any group session, the offending Patient and their Parent / Representative will be required to leave the session immediately without opportunity for refund / make up session. We do this to protect all patients, parents / representatives and our staff.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS AGREEMENT IS A CONDITION OF TREATMENT AT FAMILY AGILITY. BY SUBMITTING AN EOI FORM, / SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT INTO THIS PROGRAM OF SUPPORT, YOU ARE ACKNOWLEDGING THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD AND ACCEPTED THE ABOVE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THEM. Thank you for your understanding.
